I am using the book I Got This! by Shelah Davis for my free choice blog today. Yes again. This book is very interesting and fun to read. I read Chapter 8 for my blog post today. Chapter 8 is call Keep it Simple. The author is pretty much telling you to keep it simple, don't call it a diet, don't say you can't eat something, don't count numbers to tell you if you are healthy or not. Living and eating healthier will help you. You don't need a scale to tell you if you are health. Numbers won't tell you that. You are different from everyone else. Your body is built different from everyone else bodies. I weight the same as my sister who is 13 but that doesn't mean shes fat or i'm fat. we just have different body types. My personal reaction to this chapter was its all true. Telling yourself you can't have something makes you want it more. Keep it all simple and have what you want in a healthy manner. I think what the author meant was to not base your health off of other people and numbers or phone apps, base it on your food choices and how you feel. you can be skinny but unhealthy. Being skinny is always what you want. I would much rather be health then skinny.

My
Free Choice will be about the book I Got This! By Shelah Davis.Yes I am writing
about the book my mom wrote again. It’s a very interesting book plus the author
is my mom! Who wouldn't want to read a book their own parent wrote? I read
Chapter 10 Welcome Warrior. This is pretty much the end of the book explaining
that people are going to look at you crazy for the things you are doing but you
should smile and continue on doing what you are doing. It also explains that it’s
your body and your choices. You aren't the same as everyone. The big message at
the end of this book is Don't Stop Here! You Got This! My personal reaction to
this chapter is that I am me, I'm not anyone else and I should continue being
me and don't let anyone tell me otherwise. I believe the author’s intent of
this chapter is that you are always going to be different and you should
continue on and not worry so much about others.
